The History Channel and the Factualization of Mythology: “The Bible”
The new mini-series called “The Bible” on “The History Channel” has once again factualized something that is mythological. The show will be airing alongside the programs: Ancient Aliens, Ax Men, Swamp People, Ice Truckers, Pawn Stars, Domesday Scenarios, The Real Face of Jesus, UFO Hunters, Countdown to Apocalypse, Decoding the Past, Sliced, and The Nostradamus Effect.
The show will surely live up to the channel’s incredibly high standards of research, investigation, fact, and truth.
The show was created by two married Evangelicals; Roma Downey, (Touched by an Angel) and Mark Burnett, (Survivor & The Voice). The couple collaborated with Light Workers Media, a production company that produces religious video and works with Focus on the Family. Focus on the Family is an anti-gay/abortion organization funded by billionaires. In September, 2013 the duo will be keynote speakers at the World Evangelical Alliance conference.
Christian Fundamentalism does not need any more validation. These people have created an alternate reality of untruth, and this program is a grand example of this. These events need to be taught as what they are: mythological stories which help explain life and the world we live in. The Bible is not a history book or a newspaper. The “documentary” will most likely be full of scenes that actually did not historically take place, like the story of Genesis, the Garden of Eden, Noah’s Arc, the Virgin Birth, Jesus’ Miracles, Crucifixion & Resurrection, etc. By agreeing to air religious mythology as documentary material, the producers and editors of the History Channel is validating creationism and promoting false historicity in Christianity.
We will be writing more about this show and will breakdown each myth. They are already written they just need to undergo further editing.

See Illustration: ‘Damn’ as Noah wisely puts two baby T-Rex’ on the boat. Actually so could 2 baby elephants work. The Bible IS the historical documents of the Jews and later early Christians. It has been the real history of the world for Western civilization for over 1000 years. Actually much of the world has similar versions. The only ‘alternate reality’ is a newly introduced liberal version of Eastern myth (deep time, Universe creating itself, monkey-men, ever reincarnating.. er.. evolving life etc). But let’s agree on at least one thing here – this low-budget film is a real threat to the would-be domination of your Eastern mystic false history. not a huge threat.. but yes its enough that you need to keep writing anti-bible propaganda articles like this.. actually get busy!

The Bible contains stories written over the span of over a thousand years. Stories about Jesus were written hundreds of years after he supposedly lived. It contains spinets of history, but mostly mythological stories like the virgin birth, crucifixion, resurrection god, heaven, and hell. The Bible is not a history book nor written by first hand witnesses. It also contains millions of mistakes due to different scribes over the hundreds and thousands of years.
